pub struct ApplicationUuid { /* private fields */ }Expand description
Canonical UUID value with lazy display text.
Wire raise paths keep the 16-byte form; the 36-char text is formatted only
when a caller asks for display via as_str or
into_string. Parameter construction from validated
text retains the original string so adapters that already hold display form
do not re-allocate.
Implementations§
Source§impl ApplicationUuid
impl ApplicationUuid
Sourcepub fn from_bytes(bytes: [u8; 16]) -> Self
pub fn from_bytes(bytes: [u8; 16]) -> Self
Builds from the exact 16-byte public UUID value (raise path).
Sourcepub fn from_text(
text: impl Into<String>,
) -> Result<Self, ApplicationClientError>
pub fn from_text( text: impl Into<String>, ) -> Result<Self, ApplicationClientError>
Builds from canonical UUID text (parameter path).
Sourcepub fn as_str(&self) -> &str
pub fn as_str(&self) -> &str
Canonical 36-char text; formatted on first access when raised from bytes.
Sourcepub fn into_string(self) -> String
pub fn into_string(self) -> String
Consumes into canonical text (formats once if never requested).
Sourcepub fn text_is_materialized(&self) -> bool
pub fn text_is_materialized(&self) -> bool
True when display text has already been materialized.
